Legal
Our networks are used by thousands of customers. This policy exists so that one customer's behaviour cannot damage the reliability or reputation of the service for everyone else.
You agree to this policy as a condition of using the Service. It applies to anything done through an endpoint allocated to your account, whether by you, your employees, your contractors or your software. Breaching it is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate suspension without refund.
You must not use the Service to:
Many people use proxies to operate multiple accounts on social networks, marketplaces and retail sites. Whether that is permitted is determined by that platform’s terms, not by ours. You are responsible for understanding and complying with them.
We do not provide advice on evading a platform’s rules, and we do not permit our network to be used to defeat security controls in a way that constitutes unauthorised access under applicable law. Automation for legitimate purposes — price monitoring, brand protection, ad verification, quality assurance, research — is welcome.
Scraping and automation are core use cases, but they must be conducted responsibly. Configure your tooling to respect reasonable request rates, back off when you receive rate-limit responses, and identify your traffic where the target site provides a mechanism such as a user agent or contact address. Traffic that generates credible abuse complaints will be throttled or suspended while we investigate.
You may use endpoints in products you build for clients. You may not market or resell the endpoints themselves as a standalone proxy service, or represent yourself as us, without a written reseller agreement. Reseller agreements are available for volume partners — see the affiliate and reseller page.
Our approach is graduated where circumstances allow:
Where we terminate for breach, prepaid Terms are not refunded. We will tell you the nature of the breach unless doing so would compromise an investigation or a legal obligation.
We do not log the destinations you request. When we receive a credible abuse report we rely on connection metadata, which is retained for a maximum of 30 days, plus the information in the report itself. Where that is not enough to act, we may contact you and ask for your account of events.
We will not disclose your identity to a third party except where legally compelled, and where we are permitted to we will tell you that a request has been made. See the Privacy Policy for detail on retention.
If one of our endpoints is being used against you, send the following to support@proxy-nova.online with the subject “Abuse report”:
We acknowledge abuse reports within one business day and act on substantiated ones within 48 hours. We do not disclose customer identities in response to informal reports.
